American Animal Hospital Association Accreditation

We are proud to announce that San Antonio Animal Hospital is an accredited member of the American Animal Hospital Association  (AAHA). There are very few Hospital's that have earned this honor and we are proud to be part of the 15% that have been accepted. We would like to congratulate Doctor Joyner-Mattox, Dr. Hooks, Dr. Hirokawa and all the team members that have worked hard to make this happen. Doctor Joyner-Mattox is a member herself, and our hospital is proud to join her as a member.  During the evaluation we were judged on medical records, examination facilities, pharmacy, laboratory, X-rays, anesthesiology, surgery, dentistry, nursing care, housekeeping and maintenance, and continuing education for our doctors and staff.  AAHA had an on-site evaluation and inspection to confirm that our standards meet theirs.  Now that we have become a member, every two years or so we will have additional evaluations and reviews.  AAHA is regarded as the very best in veterinary medicine and we are proud to be a member.
